Send tokens single/batch

Sometimes you want to send a token to a different wallet (hot or cold), or for those kind ones amongst us, to send it as a gift to someone else. Not only can you send one token, but you can send multiple at once (batch send).

Ways to send are:

Send using Temple Wallet

Open the Temple extension in your browser and follow the steps in the images below. The process will be:

  1. open wallet

  2. select 'collections'

  3. scroll down or search for the token you want to send

  4. select the token

  5. when the new page shows up, double-check the details are correct and then press 'send'

  6. on the new page, enter the address to send the token to. This can be a wallet address, like the one shown in the image, or it can be a tezos profile e.g webbovich.tez

  7. ignore the amount box - it defaults to 1 for you

  8. ignore the additional fee box - sending with the minimal fee will be okay

  9. press the brown 'send' button

  10. the token will arrive at its destination after a few minutes

Send using Kukai wallet

Open the Kukai Wallet in a new tab. On the NFT/Collectibles section of the wallet choose 'all' and then follow the steps in the images below. The process will be:

  1. open wallet

  2. in NFT/collectibles, select 'all'

  3. select the token you want to send

  4. a new tab will pop up

  5. double-check the details are correct and then press 'send'

  6. a new tab will pop up

  7. enter the address to send the token to. This can be a tezos wallet address, or as per the image below, it can be a tezos profile e.g webbovich.tez . You can see on the yellow line that the wallet will show you the address connected to the .tez profile

  8. press 'preview'

  9. a new tab will open

  10. ignore the amount box - it defaults to 1 for you

  11. ignore the additional fee box - sending with the minimal fee will be okay

  12. confirm the address is correct and enter your wallet password (not seed phrase!)

  13. press the purple 'confirm' button

  14. the token will arrive at its destination after a few minutes

Send a single token or multiple tokens on Tender

Send a single token using objkt

There are two ways on objkt to send an individual token. I prefer to use the same method as the batch send process as it is the same and I don't need to remember two different ways then. Make sure the token is not for sale before you send it, then follow the steps in the images below.

Send multiple tokens using objkt

Sending multiple tokens (batch sending) on objkt is the same process as sending an individual token on objkt The difference will be the pop-up screen: it will list all the tokens you have selected, rather than a single line. You will also pay a tiny amount more in gas because you are conducting multiple transactions in one transaction. If you have a huge list, with multiple recipients, using FA2 Token Batch Sender is the better option.

Follow the images below to batch send tokens.

Send multiple tokens using FA2 Token Batch Sender

There are two ways to use this tool: upload a CSV file or copy/paste a list. The format is very simple target_address, token_id, amount

  • target_address - the wallet address you want to send to

  • token_id - the gentk# which is a specific number for that token on the platform)

  • amount - the amount you want to send

The main way you should use the site is by creating a table and saving it as a CSV file. Graphical steps of how to do that, and then how to upload it to the Batch Send Tool are below.

If you use a clipboard approach, the site will paste whatever you copy; it accesses your clipboard. While this is convenient, I tend to steer clear of sites that can view what I copy/cut and paste.

If you want to use the function, simply press the big 'paste csv from clipboard button' and approve it to read your clipboard. Now, when you copy a csv list, it will automatically paste the fields for you.

Below are the big button and also an example of a simple csv list within the notes app on a mac

are in Tenders section of the doc.

There comes a time when you need to send a lot of tokens to one person, or to lots of different people. In this case, use the batch send tool by .

The steps
@purespider
Open your Temple wallet & follow the steps to send your lovely NFT to somewhere else
On your objkt profile page, go to 'owned' and turn on the batch tools function
Simply click on the fx(hash) token you want to send. Make sure it is de-listed (not for sale) first!
From your profile page on objkt, select the 'owned' tab and turn on the batch tools
Simply select the tokens you want to send, then press batch transfer. You need to add each address separately. Note, you cannot send to a .tez address at this time - the green circle shows the error you get.
From the history tab, you can double-check to see where your tokens went. Be patient, it can take several minutes to show up.
It only requires three columns!
Save as, export, or download - the words may be different, but the outcome should be the same. Make sure it is a .csv file
Once you have your .csv file, you can choose the contract. For fx(hash) make sure you choose fxhash 1.0
Click 'upload csv file' and the fields will be populated rapidly. Double-check before sending - there is no going back!
approve the site to paste your csv file from clipboard
