has many useful tools; the most popular one being the function. Sure you can mint from fxhash, but if the mint is very popular, it can sell out before you even see it show on the fxhash website. In those cases, people are mostly using xshash.
Xshash has the following very useful pages and functions:
(old)
Earnings (old)
Settings
Last Secondary Sales - see the most recent sales on fxhash, updated every 30 seconds
Fresh Listings - see new listings on the fxhash marketplace, often even before it even shows on the fxhash site. You can buy directly from this screen. Be careful and double check it is actually the piece it says it is.
Top 30 donators - see who has been helping to keep the site operating. Hint hint.
A lot of people come to xshash for this singular reason. It is much faster than the fxhash mint page when the mint is popular. On xshash, you will see a much closer representation of the real-time blockchain transactions than fxhash, meaning you can buy here before it even shows there.
Another factor for successful minting is ensuring your transaction gets through before other people. This is a vicious cycle. To do this, you need to increase your gas fee. Temple and Kukai don't allow you to set a default gas, which means each transaction needs to be manually edited. Not so with xshash! On the mint page, there is a 'mint settings button' which allows you to define the default gas (if you buy on xshash). It can be toggled on and off with the gas pump icon. See images below.
On the mint page, there is a lot of information. I recommend following the artist you want to mint and then filtering to show only those you follow. Why? Because the mint page is live, so if a new artist releases a mint, everyone moves down one line. I have been minting when the artist moved onto the second page! It is fair to say that I missed that project because time was short.
After you have found the project for minting, ensure you are satisfied with your custom gas price. Then when the minting opens, the grey mint bar will turn green - that is your cue to hit it and start buying the next amazing project.
You can see which projects have placed you on a reserve list. These lists are created by the artist and either allow you a guaranteed mint, or access to a specific amount that is shared amongst a select group. In the latter case, there will be more people than pieces, so it can still be competitive.
This will show every token from fxhash that you own with one caveat; it will only show those tokens attached to the wallet/s you have connected.
From this page, you can
list individual tokens
batch list tokens
send individual tokens
send multiple tokens
With batch listing, it means you can set the price on multiple items, and then approve all in just one transaction, making the task of listing many items for sale much easier and faster. The transaction cost will be slightly higher than normal due to multiple contracts occurring in the one transaction approval.
This page is very similar to On Wallet, except it only shows the tokens you currently have listed on fxhash for sale, hence the title 'on sale'. It only shows those in the connected wallet/s and only those tokens on the new contract (v1.0 - which is referred to as v2.0 on xshash).
You can change the price of one, or many tokens in one transaction. This is called batch re-listing and is very useful. Warning - you cannot delist your token using this feature. If you change the price to 0 tez, that is a free token for someone.
I recommend using this tool for all v1.0 tokens, not the batch relisting tool (see the next section).
This does the same as batch listing using 'On Sale, except it allows you to do the genesis contract (beta phase of fxhash) or the new contract (v1.0, although referred to on xshash as v2.0). Where possible, use the On Sale tool.
