Tender allows the minting of projects directly from their site. You need to connect your wallet to be able to do this.
The top page of Tender is broken into several sections that quickly move you around the site. For minting, you need to select Drops
. To get the best minting experience from Tender, consider the process as two separate parts; Coming Soon and Latest Drops. Spend time reviewing what is Coming Soon and decide what to mint. Then, when the project opens for minting, it moves into Latest Drops and you can go nuts. Or not 😀
On fxhash, when a project is uploaded in advance, it sits in the incoming
section and shows how long until the mint opens. Tender displays all of those projects in its Coming Soon
section. Some benefits of using Tender for this:
The preview images are high resolution, meaning they are nicer to look at and give a better representation of the final token.
You can link Tender drops to your calendar of choice and then see all upcoming projects. This is a lot of projects, so suggest you use point 3.
You can individually choose projects to add to your calendar of choice. Probably how I would do it.
If your wallet has a token in it, then you will gain access to additional projects that are not yet in the fxhash incoming
section. Tender will open this view by default if you have a pass, but can easily be changed to coming soon- all
by pressing the all
button - shown in the image below.
Most of the projects that Tender shows in the curated filter are manually entered by the Tender collective and are constantly updated as more information comes to hand eg. An artist posts the release time on Twitter.
Some benefits of Curated Drops are:
The project has been considered by Tender to be worthy of your consideration,
The hard work of finding amazing projects is reduced for you, and
The curated list is a lot smaller, so connecting it to your calendar won't saturate it.
Once a project opens for minting, it moves from the Coming Soon
section to the Latest Drops
section. It has gone from being in the future to the very real present.
Once it opens for minting, a minting button will appear. I recommend opening the project prior to it going live, so it doesn't disappear off your screen as it moves from Coming Soon
to the Latest Drops
section.
You can see the image below showing the mint button. Tender uses the same API as xshash, so it updates very fast, thereby providing the most accurate information. Update speeds are an issue that can plague most Tezos marketplaces, including fxhash, during popular drops.
At this stage, Tender does not have its own node/RPC, but it is being investigated. Until then, I recommend using the .
